3 nights stay at the one of most famous hotels in Gibraltar,Private transfer included

Gibraltar is a sunny VAT-free haven with a reassuringly British way of life, The narrow peninsula of ‘The Rock’, as it is affectionately known, is packed with things to do. Captured by the British in 1704 and a British Crown Colony since 1830, it has a turbulent past, which has left a wealth of interesting relics. See the Moorish Castle, whose origins may go back to the 8th century, the 100-ton Victorian supergun and Trafalgar Cemetery. Gibraltar is like a tiny bit of England basking in sunshine - the language is English, policemen wear familiar uniforms and on street corners you will find British-looking pubs and familiar red telephone boxes. Some streets are connected by flights of steps and although it is hilly in places, walking is still the best way to explore Gibraltar. At the top of the Rock, a height of 424 metres, there are stunning vistas of the Strait, which separates Europe from Africa just 12 km distant, and equally amazing views of the city, harbour and airport below. Visitors can stroll around the famous Botanical Gardens with their astonishing flora, explore the natural caverns of St Michael’s Cave, which now form a huge auditorium - an unforgettable setting for concerts and live shows - or enjoy shopping along Main Street. Gibraltar enjoys a subtropical Mediterranean climate with gentle sea breezes - and the occasional less clement day during the winter months. With its rich heritage, fantastic shopping and British character, it is in a class of its own.
