Spend 7 nights gulet cruising to Turkey - full board

This cruise takes you between the two largest towns on this stretch of stunning coastline. It is also combined with a visit to Gocek, a bohemian resort where life centres around the marina - the perfect port of call.

Itinerary

  • Day 1, Monday - Depart London Gatwick on the evening flight. Arrive in Dalaman in the early hours, and transfer to your gulet.

  • Day 2, Tuesday - Your gulet representative will hold a welcome get-together in order to provide you with helpful and interesting information about life on board a gulet and what to expect during your cruise. Cruising out of Marmaris you will set sail for the small village of Turunç, where lunch will be taken. After lunch set sail for Kumlu, famed for the ancient ruins of Samus, which stand high up on the cliffs.

  • Day 3, Wednesday - After breakfast, head towards Ecincik Bay where you will have the opportunity to visit the ancient harbour city of Caunos. Journey along the Dalyan Delta and view the ancient Lycian rock tombs carved high into the rock face.

  • Day 4, Thursday - Leave Ecincik and head towards Aga Limani en-route to Tersana with its ruins dating back to the Byzantine era. Relax and swim until early evening and spend the night in Tersana.

  • Day 5, Friday - Cruise to the small and quiet port of Monastir Island and discover the 'sunken church'. Continue towards the Gulf of Gocek and its friendly and inviting marina where you will spend the evening. Gocek is a delightful village on a bay at the foot of the mountains, where yachts stop in the harbour and fishing boats ply their trade.

  • Day 6, Saturday - Leave Göcek this morning for a leisurely day cruising the coves and islands of the Bay of Fethiye, taking in Kadirga en-route to overnight destination of Yassicalar.

  • Day 7, Sunday - The final day spent cruising takes you to Piknik Buku for lunch before sailing on to Fethiye, the final port of call. Spend the evening exploring this ancient Lycian town which combines both lively and laid back atmospheres.

    Shortly after arriving in Fethiye you will be met by your gulet representative who will give you your departure details from the boat.

  • Day 8, Monday - Once again you’ll meet your gulet representative and disembark to join your transfer to the airport.

    Please note :The Lycian cruise can also operate in a reverse itinerary, visiting exactly the same places but the opposite way around.
